We are seeking individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional care and service and who are looking for an opportunity to work with a dynamic and talented team of caregivers.The Applications Analyst III at St. Charles Health System is responsible for planning and executing all facets of the life cycle for those software applications supporting our hospitals and ambulatory clinics, maximizing the business value to our users of those applications. This position does not directly manage any other Caregivers.(May perform additional duties of similar complexity within SCHS as required or assigned)Lead efforts to install and implement system patches, service packs and version upgrades as assigned; lead complex process improvement efforts; develop and maintain a roadmap for future system improvements; remain intimately familiar with industry best practices as they pertain to assigned application areas; usher through simple to complex system environment changes.Collaborate with system users towards continuous improvement of the business value delivered by our software applications.Build and maintain system control and application configuration data within software applications to maximize the business benefits delivered.Design and execute small:to:large scale application testing as required. Support and manage large: scale testing efforts as assigned.Troubleshoot, identify root cause, and document problems of simple to high complexity for assigned applications and systems; lead the resolution efforts to the more complex problems. Escalate application issues with SCHS management and if necessary, the software vendor, while maintaining issue status reports.Analyze and manage systems of simple:to:high complexity to ensure service level agreements with system clients are met; assist IT Leadership in the formulation of service level agreements.Collaborate with caregivers across the enterprise to build strong relationships; build relationships with vendors to maintain strong partnerships; lead user group meetings as required.Maintain data integrity and security for assigned applications and systems; lead efforts to address the more complex data integrity problems.Assist in the preparation for and conduct of user training when required; mentor Application Analyst Level Is and IIs.Collaborate with system users to provide business reporting; collaborate with the Infrastructure Team to provide system performance reporting; satisfy the need for more complex reporting needs.Manage small:to:medium scale projects and complete the associated Project Management deliverables as assigned. Complete project tasks of simple:to:high complexity as assigned.Maintain the capability of being tasked with the most complex tasks on the most complex projects as well as mentor others in the completion of other tasks; capable of managing subprojects as assigned by the PM.Develop system documentation as assigned per standards; draft major changes to policy and procedure relating to documentation.Participate in on:call rotation.Conduct all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
