We are seeking individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional care and service and who are looking for an opportunity to work with a dynamic and talented team of caregivers.The Applications Analyst II at St. Charles Health System is responsible for planning and executing all facets of the life cycle for those software applications supporting our hospitals and ambulatory clinics, maximizing the business value to our users of those applications. This position does not directly manage any other Caregivers.(May perform additional duties of similar complexity within SCHS as required or assigned)Lead efforts to install and implement system patches, service packs and version upgrades as assigned; lead process improvement efforts; remain familiar with industry best practices; develop and maintain a roadmap for future system improvements; usher through simple to complex system environment changes.Collaborate with system users towards continuous improvement of the business value delivered by our software applications.Build and maintain system control and application configuration data within software applications to maximize the business benefits delivered.Design and execute small:to:medium scale application testing as required. Support large: scale testing efforts as assigned.Troubleshoot, identify root cause, and document problems of simple to high complexity for assigned applications and systems. Escalate application issues with SCHS management and if necessary, the software vendor, while maintaining issue status reports.Analyze and manage systems of simple:to:high complexity to ensure service level agreements are met.Collaborate with caregivers across the enterprise to build strong relationships; forms relationships with vendors to build strong partnerships.Maintain data integrity and security for assigned applications and systems.Assist in the preparation for and conduct of user training when required; mentor Application Analyst Level Is.Work with team leads and management regarding apparent priority and schedule conflicts.Collaborate with system users to provide business reporting; collaborate with the Infrastructure Team to provide system performance reporting.Manage small:scale projects and complete the associated Project Management deliverables as assigned. Complete project tasks of simple:to:high complexity as assigned.Develop system documentation as assigned per standards; draft minor changes to policy and procedures relating to documentation.Participate in on:call rotation.Conduct all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
