xxxx891 - Honeywell Aerospace Wheels & Brakes is a leading supplier of landing systems for use on aircraft. This position will be located in the Honeywell Aerospace site in South Bend , Indiana and will be a key leadership role for the site. This position will report to the South Bend Site Leader and will be responsible for maintenance functions at South Bend.   Please be sure your have the necessary following criteria:   US Citizen or Perm Resident is required due to ITAR requirements Must have experience in Maintenance and Aerospace experience Must have experience with Lean Six Sigma Mfg. tools Must have Supervisory experience over a large population of employee’s (100) MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY include the following. (Other duties may be assigned): • Manages directly or indirectly a group of approximately 100+ employees • Provides the necessary leadership to promote change throughout the organization and develop and lead a world class maintenance function. • Works across functions in a matrix environment to drive the deployment of the Honeywell Operating System to create a world class Safety culture, strong Delivery, improved Quality and year over year cost productivity • Accountable for driving safety culture throughout the department. • Serves on the Leadership Team. • Drives communications throughout department. • Provides oversight of all Maintenance operations. • Accountable for driving Maintenance Excellence and reliability improvement throughout the organization. • Meets/exceeds Maintenance Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets. • Provides strategic input to the site AOP process, Strategic Plan (STRAP), and capital budget. • Interfaces with Operations and Supply Chain Managers to meet/exceed customer expectations. • Optimizes the utilization of resources to maintain the plant. • Integrates Six Sigma/Lean/HOS tools to continuously improve processes and drive productivity • Provides career development and guidance for direct reports. • Accountable for execution of compliance programs.
