Lovely antique writing desk that would date back to the early xxxx's. The chair section uses a beautiful quarterswan Oak. It looks like it's seen many years of good use.
The writing surface is a maple hardwood with a nice burl pattern.
The chair and writing surface are very sturdy. It's small enough for a child, but still big enough for an adult. A versatile and handy piece!
It measures 31-1/2" high to the top of chair. 22-1/2" wide from edge of seat to dege of writing surface. 25" deep from front of writing surface to back of chair.
The writing surface is 26-1/2" high in the center where it bolts on. It has a slight slope. Back is at 25-1/2" to the front at 27". It's 11-1/2" wide by 23-1/2" deep.
The chair seat is at 16-3/4" tall. Seat is slightly tapered but about 17" square.
